How difficult can one Highlander be?

For centuries, Grant MacQuarrie and his ancestors have been administering Farraige Castle overlooking the North Sea for a Playfair family, who had left it in their capable hands when the last heir moved to the States. Now, the daughter has inherited the estate. According to the contract, she must live in the holding for a year and a day so she can learn how to adequately manage the castle from across the sea before she can return to America. Grant MacQuarrie, pack leader and chief of the MacQuarrie clan, has run the estates forever and isn’t happy about having an American lass in his way. But when she arrives, he learns she’s a sexy wolf who isn't at all like her stuck-up, devious father, who hated Grant and his clan.

Colleen Playfair has never been to Scotland, although she has several famous and infamous Scottish ancestors. So when she learns she must live at Farraige Castle in the Highlands for 366 days, she’s excited about the prospect. And a little apprehensive. Already, one Grant MacQuarrie is not happy about her coming. Will the Scots be peeved with her since she’s an American, trying to run things? But she’s got her ancestors' head for math, geology, and architecture, her father’s stubborn determination, her mother’s ability to make friends, and her uncle’s knack for making people smile, so how hard could it be?

Totally had fun with this story. We haven't lost the MacNeills. They're intertwined with the story also. But it was fun showing two wolf packs in the Highlands that are actually friends. :)

Isn't he adorable? Well, sure, the Highland hunk on the cover, too!! But I found this little guy and fell in love with him. So I picked up four for the four conferences I'll be attending, and can't wait to display them on my book signing tables....one lucky winner will get him. :)

So what should his name be?

I'm all about jaguars right now, doing the final proof of Jaguar Fever, trying to keep up on word count for Jaguar Hunt, but with the new release of A Highland Werewolf Wedding, I had to put this little guy in charge of marketing the book. :)

He loves the cool Highlanders and wants a kilt too. :)

Terry Spear and given us another hit to her Werewolf Series.  I don’t think I will ever get bored with her books as each one brings a new a delightful hero and heroine as well as a fun supporting cast.  As much as Cearnach fights the attraction he has to Elaine he cannot help but want to protect her and be near her.  Elaine has had a rough time with men in her life and the last thing she wants is another one ordering her around.  It doesn’t take these two long to realize they are destined to be together but there is someone who will do everything to prevent that from happening.

Who doesn’t like a story with highlanders that are also werewolves?  This series can keep going and going and I will be one of the first in line to buy it.  Kudos to Ms. Spears for another fun filled romance.  If you have not had the chance to pick up one of her books I suggest you start now with A Highland Werewolf Wedding.

Jaguar Heat and A Highland Werewolf Wedding Blog Tour

Sometimes beginning a story is easy. Sometimes it isn't. I had an idea for the beginning, then tried to come up with something different, but when I reread the opening, I liked it...so I'm off and...running with it!!!

I kept thinking I wanted one of my jaguars to have a jaguar car, so this is it. Don't you love it??? :)

Tammy Anderson, Maya and Connor's cousin, is getting to know David Patterson, Wade Patterson's brother, and already they are totally at odds.

I also learned that Jaguar Heat and the next Highland wolf story, A Hero of a Highland Wolf are coming out next spring! Woohoo! With Silence of the Wolf coming out in Feb, that makes 3. But that's not all! Mistletoe, Mayhem, and the Highland Wolf is scheduled for Oct. So another 4 books next year! Which means 3 that I have to write. :)

Yep, yesterday was my very last day to write a story.

 I decided to put my individual vampire romance short stories into a collection. This way readers can read individual ones, or save nearly $2 off the collection and get that one.

Seducing the Huntress

Sold! A SEAL Wolf Christmas!

Not sure about the title, but Sourcebooks bought A SEAL Wolf Christmas!

It all began with To Tempt the Wolf and Hunter and his wolf pack!

You know how that began. Tessa finds a naked man on her beach. Hey, he's a SEAL...wolf. What can you expect?  Snowstorm coming. What's a woman to do???

Then there's A SEAL in Wolf's Clothing.

And a return to Hunter's pack, only this time with one of his SEAL team members, back at the Oregon coast, Finn Emerson intending to protect Hunter's sister Meara.

Meara catches him before he covers himself with a towel, pretending to be her lover while she's intending to find a mate. And it's NOT going to be him. He's such a devil of a wolfish SEAL hunk.

I got word last night, talk about TGIF!!! Anna and Bjornolf get their turn!

A SEAL Wolf Christmas (title probably to change)

Navy SEAL Bjornolf Jorgenson and undercover operative Anna Johnson have a rocky beginning at their first meeting all to do with pantyhose and tying her to a bed after some heavy-duty sparring, and him declaring she has mighty fine killer knees. Christmas is coming but thoughts of sugar plum fairies and kissing under the mistletoe isn’t something these two gray werewolves have in mind when they're tasked to be the newlyweds preparing for Christmas while investigating a SEAL’s murder at a Christmas Tree farm.

Neither care about Christmas, sharing gifts, and all the traditions that go along with the season since neither enjoyed the holiday while growing up. But as they battle each other as to what makes for the perfect newly married couple’s first Christmas, they learn that a little Christmas cheer can become so much more, especially if they can take down a SEAL’s killer before they become his next target.

So get ready for more of Bjornolf. Yum. :)  And Anna and her give no quarter attitude!
